The Benefits of becoming a WMAI Member.

Your company name is shown on the WMAI Website as an Associate Member and gives potential customers the confidence that products are being used correctly and comply with the requirements of the New Zealand Building Code.

When a customer contacts the Association for a recommended installer, they are directed to those shown in their area and are listed as current on the website.

Projects of interest are reported on in the WMAI Newsletter and it is again an excellent chance for people to get to see the quality of our member’s work. Past copies are stored on the website. View the Newsletters.

To become a member a company must fill in the WMAI Membership Application form and send it back to the email address of the WMAI Secretary.

• Your application must have a nomination from an existing Ordinary Member.
  If you do not have one at the time of sending the form back it will be added at the time your application passes through the monthly meeting.
• Once passed an invoice will be sent to you for your yearly subscription. No joining fee is payable.
• Once paid a Welcome pack is sent to the address shown on your application form. In the pack is a Certificate of Membership and door stickers to show your customers you are a member.
• You may then request a high-resolution WMAI Logo from us that can be used on your website and stationery.
• A WMAI Newsletter will be sent to your email on a regular basis along with a free copy of our latest Code of Practices.
• We invite our Associate Members to attend our Wellington Meetings on the last Thursday of each month.
• You will have speaking rights and a slot to tell us more about your company.
• Let us know if you want to attend and we will arrange transport from the Wellington Airport.
• We are always looking for Testimonials from Associate Members to place in our Newsletter.
• Stories of your company and the work you do are read by Architects and always result in further work coming your way.
